Some of the common conditions that we treat

Types of treatments available

Electrotherapy

To decrease inflammation & pain and to accelerate the bodies own healing processes.

Massage

Relaxing soft tissue massage to relax muscle tension & facilitate mobilisation and manipulation. Deeper soft tissue massage to reduce swelling, scar tissue formation.

Spinal Mobilisation & Manipulation

A degree of spinal adjustment like chiropractic & osteopathy. Techniques may vary from gentle fine touch movements of spinal mobilisation and stretching to full body manipulation.

Traction

Mechanical or manual spinal stretching to relieve compression in the neck, lower back & hip area.

Orthotics

The use of corrective insoles to prevent lower limb problems e.g. knee pain, achilles, hip & back pain.

Acupuncture

Can be used for any condition where it is felt that this is the most appropriate form of treatment. Particularly helpful with arthritic knees, back & hip pain. All needles are sterilised and disposable.

Exercise

Prescriptive exercise programmes to assist treatment to aid a quicker recovery. Most programmes can be performed at home with little or no equipment.
